An annual feature I co-conceived and led for Artsy, spotlighting the 50 artists making the greatest impact on contemporary art—from breakout talents to older artists finally getting their due.

We sought to create a distinctive, minimal aesthetic that would foreground the artists’ unique qualities and would not compete with their artwork in the story layout. Artists were photographed in their own clothing to capture their individual style and featured in a double portrait to showcase multiple aspects of their character.
